Jahorina Southeast of Sarajevo lie the nearly deserted slopes of Mt Jahorina (1930m) with 20 km of runs for alpine and Nordic skiing.
The winter season is mid-December to the end of March.

Bjelašnica A more compact area than Jahorina and within the Federation of Bosnia and Hercegovina.
Attractions include excursions out to old Bosnian villages and transport to Igoman, a small nearby skiing field with a lift and ski jump.
